My Motivation To Study Finance And Accounting

An uncle who was studying to become a chartered accounting professional introduced me first to accounting. I became interested in the role of an accountant after hearing his explanation. I began researching the career options for chartered accountants. My education, my personal skills and love of numbers make me a good candidate for a career in finance and accounting.

As a chartered accountant, I want to have a solid understanding of accounting and finance. Level 3 Business provided me with a deep understanding of accounting and finance, which has increased my passion. It also gave me the opportunity to acquire a wide range of skills that I can apply at university as well as work. Personal and Business Finance units have given me a better understanding of the role and importance accounting plays in business and personal lives. I’ve also read books like Rich Dad Poor Dad to expand my knowledge and increase my interest in the subject. Haywards Fine Dining Restaurant is where I currently work part-time. Haywards has taught me many skills. I am particularly proud of my ability to adapt. My ability to quickly adapt and see new challenges as learning opportunities is a huge asset in the accounting industry.

I understand that interpersonal skills are essential in the financial and accounting field. They allow one to work well with clients and build profitable relationships. Although my communication skills were strong and developed through school and other activities, I have gained valuable experience working with clients and colleagues in a variety of jobs, starting at age 14. I started coaching cheerleading and trampolining at 14 years of age. I had to take charge of a group to help them succeed, both in their sport and their personal growth.

I also enjoy participating in various sports throughout my lifetime, including gymnastics, trampolining and athletics. From 2013-2018, I was competitive cheerleader. With my team, I won several Regional and National Champion titles. As a teenager, cheerleading was a major part of my development. It taught me many skills that I still use in daily life. I learned to be a strong worker, teamworker, committed, and accountable. These skills will prove invaluable in my future career as a financial analyst and at university.

I also learned Spanish. It was difficult but I think it will help me in many aspects of my daily life, both professionally and socially. I am determined and passionate about learning Spanish fluently.

As a person, I always dreamed of higher education. I am excited to face the challenges of university. I am certain that the skills I have developed at university and the skills I have already acquired will make me a successful chartered accountant.
